I’ve not written about any AppSumo deals for awhile as work has been piling up and we have been running weekly deals on the Martech Wise Facebook Group for a few months now. So when the ThemeIsle deal was released, I briefly checked before forgetting about the deal.

It was just another theme, I thought. After all, I have OceanWP, Astra Pro and GeneratePress Premium, so I’m covered, no?

That was the way I thought a week ago. Plus, I was frustrated with OceanWP. Did I invest in buying the wrong theme that doesn’t seem to progress much? Interestingly, over the past few days, my mindset changed.

Because of that, I’m writing this crazy last minute ThemeIsle review as a clarion call for you to reconsider too.

ThemeIsle Review: An Introduction

As a Web Developer in Malaysia, my biggest issue is the time versus cost factor to delivering great sites for clients. This was never the issue when I worked in the startup world. There, we hand-coded everything be it frontend or backend. After all, I still drew a monthly salary.

But coming out to running my own agency is difficult. Coding up beautiful frontend for sites, might take a week or two for very little pay. After all, the market is saturated with ‘web designers‘ who would just buy an off-the-shelf ThemeForest template and install it for clients for very little money.

It however, made commercial sense to them as the process of putting up a site can be as quick as a day or two. Compare that to our custom coded frontend and you’ll see the issue.

And it didn’t matter to clients that they’re ending up with multipurpose themes that are heavily loaded with tons of scripts. Plus, these themes are difficult to customise later on.

As such, I was forced to find a way to deliver fast but beautiful and yet technically sound WordPress sites or continue losing out on lower budget clients. Or perhaps I could just go down the dark side with ThemeForest themes.

ThemeIsle Review: Why ThemeIsle Themes?

So when The Landing Factory (TLF) landed on SaaS Mantra a few days back, I was intrigued. And when I browsed through, I got interested in the beautiful ready-made templates that I could easily install for clients.

That way, I could deliver as fast as those ‘web designers’ who focus on buying off ThemeForest, without the technical weaknesses that comes from multipurpose themes.

I immediately started checking out places where I can get more pre-built Elementor templates (more on that on another post).

So when I saw Ionut (the owner of ThemeIsle) posting on the MartechWise Facebook Group about the deal ending, I checked out the ThemeIsle Lifetime Deal and saw two things that I like about it

1. Neve Pro is really fast and comparable to Astra Pro. In fact, it is slightly faster. Plus, Ionut mentioned that Neve Pro is their current focus / super theme
2. Neve Pro comes with 40 beautiful one-click install templates. Another 30 will be launched by year end.

While speed isn’t much of an issue for me (as Astra and GeneratePress are fast), having creative and beautiful templates made me say yes.

But if you do not have Astra or GeneratePress, perhaps its time to consider grabbing yourself a license.

ThemeIsle Review: Conclusion

ThemeIsle is a company well known for the quality of their products. From Hestia Pro (their previous flagship theme) to the Revive Old Posts Pro plugin, I find their quality, impeccable.

If you run a digital web design and development agency, you won’t go wrong with this deal. Please grab the heavily discounted ThemeIsle package before the deal ends.
